Bill Maston
Principal Architect

Bill Maston is a local licensed architect who has lived in the Mountain View and Los Altos area for over 50 years. He is the Principal of William Maston Architect & Associates, a firm that specializes in single family residential, select multi-family residential and select commercial retail projects. Bill also has a strong background in site design and master plan projects. This background has proved very effective in designing complicated hillside projects, planned unit developments and site-specific master plans. Mr. Maston's primary focus still remains in the single family residence, new construction and remodel areas.

Bill holds architectural licenses in California (1987), Nevada (1989) and is registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) since 1989, and is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s School of Architecture (1980).

Bill has been actively involved in the community since opening his office in 1989. His involvement includes:

Bill's involvement in these community service efforts has not only given him strong connections in the community, but provided him with a clear understanding of what is necessary to build consensus on City planning and zoning issues as well as fashioning visions for each community's future. These principles are applied to individual client projects as well.

Poko Klein
Project Manager

PoKo has worked as a project manager for WMAA since 2017. Hard at work, PoKo has devoted 20+ years of experience in architecture after receiving her B.A. degree in Architecture at the University of Washington. Many of her years were spent on design plus project management including; ADA investigation, survey, and inspection. PoKo brings a plethora of outside knowledge by working for an architectural and engineering firm where she specialized in building envelope, water proofing and construction. At WMAA she oversees the staff in design and construction documents and makes sure they are in compliance with established codes, regulations and practices. While she is not working you can find her dancing intricate ballet dances, weightlifting or hiking. You can find PoKo anywhere from a road trip down the coast of California to traveling overseas during vacation and holidays.


Priya Arora
Architectural Designer

Priya has worked at WMAA as a Job Captain since March 2016 and brings with her a diverse experience in hospitality, mixed use, and planning projects. She has been fondly fascinated by Fine Arts and Architecture since her childhood days and has been pursuing the interest since then. She graduated with a Masters in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati in 2007. She also holds Master of City Planning from IIT, Kharagpur and Bachelor of Architecture from Indore, India. She is LEED AP and has extensively worked in varied size projects and organizations, both in India and here in United States in multitude of roles and responsibilities. Priya has strong inclination towards spirituality and likes to indulge in practices of yoga, meditation & reading, in her life outside work.

Max Ermolenko
Architectural Designer

Max Ermolenko graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 1997 and worked many years in Moscow, Russia on different projects in different roles as an architect. His previous work includes, master plans, office remodeling, and residential architecture. His most valuable experience in designing is big classic style residential buildings on all stadiums through design, to construction documentation and construction site supervising. His personal preferences in architecture - simple things with good idea.

 


Laura Lang
Accountant

Laura is responsible for accounting and financial matters at William Maston Architect & Associates. She is a graduate of Santa Clara University, and has been with WMAA since June 2011. Laura brings her knowledge and experience in financial reporting, budget preparation, and business management to the team.

Holly Bierman
Executive Assistant/Office Manager

Holly graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. After her time spent at the University Holly went to work for a general contractor for several years. Shortly after she found her new desk job at William Maston Architect and Associates. Holly has been a member of the WMAA team since March of 2018, and has been working hard ever since on the day to day aspects that keep a business running. Whether it be responding to client’s emails, managing the office and making sure projects are done on time, or ordering more coffee, Holly is on the case.

In her free time Holly loves to maintain and grow her garden, go antiquing to find old treasures, and volunteer with City Tree to help plant trees across the greater part of Northern California.
